Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Template notice: drafted to match this site's actual
cookie/tracking setup. Not reviewed by a lawyer — have it checked
before relying on it, particularly if you plan to run ads targeting
the EU/UK (GDPR) or other jurisdictions with stricter consent rules.
What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) Yash Terra uses on yashterra.co.in, why, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
How consent works on this site
On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks you to Accept All or Reject Non-Essential. Until you choose, analytics and advertising cookies stay switched off (technically: Google's Consent Mode is set to "denied" by default) — only strictly necessary cookies are active. Your choice is remembered for 6 months, after which the banner reappears.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These don't require consent because the site can't function properly without them:
- Cookie consent choice — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies (stored in your browser's local storage, not a traditional cookie, but covered here for completeness).
- Basic session/security cookies set by our hosting provider to keep the site functioning and secure.
Analytics (only after you accept)
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — helps us understand which pages and properties get attention, how visitors navigate the site, and where to improve. Set by Google; see Google's cookie information.
Advertising (only after you accept)
- Google Ads (remarketing/audience building) — lets us show relevant ads to people who've previously visited the site, via Google's ad network. Reuses the same Google tag as GA4 and is subject to the same consent toggle.
- Meta Pixel & Microsoft/Bing UET tag — placeholders reserved in our code for Facebook/Instagram and Bing ad campaigns respectively. As of this writing neither is configured with a live ID, so neither is actually collecting data — this policy will be updated if and when either goes live.
How to change your choice
Clear your browser's local storage/site data for yashterra.co.in and reload any page — the cookie banner will reappear. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser's privacy settings; the site will continue to function normally, though we won't be able to measure your visit or show you relevant remarketing ads.
Where these cookies are set from
Analytics and advertising cookies here are set by Google (google.com and associated domains) as part of Google Analytics and Google Ads. We do not sell cookie or tracking data to third parties.
